Let’s talk skincare. I have sensitive skin that tends to be on the dry side. I have to be extra careful with the types of products I use. I can’t use a lot of creams because they cause bumps and breakouts and I also scar easily. So it’s been a lot of trial and error trying to figure out what works well for my skin.
I’ve been super consistent with my skincare routine lately and I feel like it’s been giving me great results so I definitely wanted to share it with you guys. I’m a busy and tired Mama of 2 who needs to keep things quick and simple if I have any luck at being consistent with it. Which is why this 4 product skincare routine is a game changer.
My skin scars really easily and during my pregnancies I got a lot of breakouts and scaring so it took me a while to find what worked well for me, some of these products I’ve been using for the past two years and others have been newly added into my routine.
Step 1 Cleanser
I cleanse my face with Youth to the Peoples Superfood Antioxidant cleanser. I’ve been using this product for 2 years and my skin LOVES it. It is great for removing makeup, and doesn’t strip or dry out your face.
Step 2 Toner
After cleansing my face, I lightly pat it dry and follow up with a toner. I’ve been using YTTP Mandelic acid and superfood unity exfoliant toner for a few months now and my skin is glowing! it’s gentle enough to use daily, and mandelic acid is great at evening out your skin tone and helping to fade dark marks.
Step 3 Serum
Next up would be to moisturize my skin and serums seem to work best for me, so some days I will add a pump or two of YTTP 15% Vitamin C serum all over my face and neck.
Step 4 Sun Protectant (SPF)
Always, ALWAYS use sun protectant! I’ve been using Saie Beauty’s Sunvisor SPF 35 everyday before I leave the house.
